We rented 2 rooms and the other relatives rented 2 as well and all of us had the same report.
We were down for a funeral and this is the only place to stay really within 30 ish miles. They advertise a "data port" which is in the room but is not active. They have a "business center" but it is all wrapped up and the room is used for storage.
Clean sheets, clean room prettily decorated and furnished and NO BUGS. All previous reviews are outdated. My room had separate sitting area with desk, king size bed, ironing board, microwave, frig, alarm clock, coffee pot and hair dryer. The tv channels are limited and no wifi but I've paid more for much less. Staff is friendly and helpful (needed toilet plunger). Motel is actually WEST of bypass. Also has area in back for RV and semi truck parking which made it perfect for me since my RV is a peterbilt with 53 ft trailer (yes I'm one of THOSE people) which normally limits me to dirty, smelly truckstops.
When I got there I got into bed to take a nap and my toes got tangled up in the holes in the sheets at the foot of the bed. The room smelled like a hamper as well. It had crappy channels that had some duplicates and channels that would not come in.
My advice, stay with a relative or go to Tupelo!
This place is a dump
The AC was nice and cold but it took 4 hours to bring the 85 degree room down to 72.
You know you are in trouble when you watch the cleaning person running bugs out of a room.
The guy was Very accommodating! The ac was awesome, there was One cricket on my floor. Lol. It was a very nice stay.
No stars....roaches...dirty sheets...police told us not a good place...said no pets but cats running all around in lobby all over the tables...NASTY...would not reccomend to any one...got our money back went to another ...
